The Institute for Business Information Systems is the active knowledge centre concerning Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein. The research focus on business process management. The Institute is a Member of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) and represents the Association for Information Systems (AIS) in Liechtenstein through the Liechtenstein Chapter of the AIS (LCAIS).
The Hilti chair of Business Process Management focuses on the design of organizational systems by utilising modern information- and communication technology (ICT).
We aim at enhancing efficiency and developing new market opportunities through innovative business models. This requires a sound alignment of economic interests with technological possibilities for which appropriate concepts are developed at our chair.
The demand and the request for “life-long learning” are obvious. The Institute of Business Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein is the leading knowledge pool in this area and meets the daily challenges of our society and work environments.
