Summer School on Service Science and Enterprise Architecture Management 2013

From 02nd September (Monday) to 11th September (Wednesday), 2013, Wroclaw University of Economics provides an attractive setting for a wonderful summer school experience. The summer school’s topic is Service Science and Enterprise Architecture Management (SSEAM), hence adressing a range of relevant and exciting subjects. It is organized by the University of Wroclaw within the IS:link network, in close collaboration with the University of Duisburg-Essen and the University of Leipzig. The summer school offers an inspiring mix of classes, activities and excursions. The summer school covers three related subject areas that are of substantial relevance both in IS research and in business practice: Enterprise Architecture Management, Service Economy and Service Science, and Service Systems Engineering. The first part of the course intends to make students familiar with some of the organizational success factors of enterprise architecture management (EAM). It is designed to enable students to develop EAM initiatives that have a significant and sustainable impact on existing IS capabilities and ultimately ogranizational success. The courses second part focuses on social, economic and technological aspects of services, on issues related to information system development in its entire life-cycle. The last area covers selected aspects of development and use of service-oriented information systems.

Course Credits

There will be a written exam at the end of the summer school. On successful completion 6 ECTS will be granted. You may also choose to participate as a non-credit student.
