Chung-Ang University (CAU) is a private comprehensive institution, which enrols 30,000 students with a faculty of 982 members at 10 colleges and 17 graduate schools on two campuses in Seoul and nearby suburban Anseong in South Korea.

Chung-Ang University, established in 1918 with the educational ideal of Justice and Righteousness, has taken on a leadership role to cultivate the intellectuals of Korea. A global leader in education

Fully accredited by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning of Korea, Chung-Ang University offers undergraduate and graduate programmes leading to bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in a comprehensive range of fields, with the broader fields being Social Sciences and Humanities, Natural Science and Engineering, Business and Economics, Arts and Sport Science, as well as Medicine and Pharmacy. The dynamic confluence of its components helped the university gain top recognition nationwide from the Ministry of Education and Science Technology for the past 8 consecutive years.

In addition, its pharmacy and culture and arts-related programmes have been widely recognized as the best in Korea and have enabled the university to gain the status of the centre of recent ‘Korean culture wave’ within and outside Asia.

The campuses

The Seoul Campus of Chung-Ang University, comprising, among others, the Faculty of Business Administration, is located in the heart of Seoul on the southern side of the Han River. It is easily accessible by bus lines and subway trains, placing the campus in a 30 minutes reach of the downtown area of Seoul.
The Anseong Campus is situated outskirts of Anseong City, Gyeonggi-do Province, which is about one and a half hour ride from Seoul Campus. Both campus are connected by regularly running shuttle buses.
