An Internship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas

InternshipLasVegasThe University of Nevada at Las Vegas invites students from engineering and related fields to pursue internship in the fields of Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation and Infrastructure Systems, Concrete Materials and Infrastructures, and Mathematics and Statistics. Multi-disciplinary, systems-oriented and hands on perspective characterizes the plans of study and research topics. Students from all engineering disciplines and related fields are welcome to apply. 

Students accepted into the programs will be working in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams that include faculty, graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) and undergraduate students. Most projects require the use of state-of-the-art facilities and technologies, such as the CEEC Concrete Laboratory, the UNLV National Supercomputing Center for Energy and the Environment, driving simulators, Biopac, and real-time data collection systems, to name a few.

Students will excel only with hard work; therefore, only commited students should apply. Interns will be expected to work long hours on campus and meet deadlines. Students are required to be in the lab at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
