Summer School on Next Generation Enterprise Modelling 2014

From Sunday, July 6th, 2014 to Saturday, July 19th, 2014 the Alpen-Adria University in Klagenfurt provides the setting for an extraordinary summer school. The topic is Next-Generation Enterprise Modelling, which will be taught in a two week program combining lectures and practical work in groups based on four topical pillars. Foundations of Conceptual Modelling will teach all formal methods and tools needed for the creation, transformation and application of enterprise processes. Technologies for Conceptual Modelling will cover helpful tools and software, as modelling compilers, multi-client applications, and meta-modelling platforms. Enterprise Information Systems, e-Government, Health Care, and other fields will be the topic of the third pillar – Application Domains. Cross-cutting Issues will focus on related topics such as information security, risk management, and quality assurance of models and methods.

The Summer School is generously funded by EU. Students of the IS:link network will be eligible to benefit from this, if they spend the summer semester at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
